All cloud website hosting service offered by our company come with Node.js and you will be able to add this innovative platform to your shared account via the Add Services/Upgrades menu in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You can select the amount of instances for this upgrade, i.e. how many separate websites/platforms will utilize Node.js simultaneously, and you can add as many instances as you wish. The Hepsia Control Panel will also enable you to choose the precise location of your .js app and to decide whether you’ll use a dedicated IP address or the server’s shared one. Accessing Node.js will be possible via a randomly generated port number chosen by our cloud hosting platform. On top of that, you can stop or restart any instance that you have added, edit the path to the .js app or view the output of the active instances with only a couple of clicks from your web hosting Control Panel via a quite simple-to-navigate interface.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
You will be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-powered software app running in a semi-dedicated server account, since the platform comes with all our semi-dedicated server hosting packages and you can activate it with only a few mouse clicks. If you would like to use it for multiple websites, you can add more instances through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The activation is as easy as choosing the path to your .js file and choosing whether Node.js should use a dedicated IP or any of the physical server’s shared IPs, so you can take advantage of Node.js even if you haven’t got any previous experience with such a software platform. Our system will also specify a randomly generated port number which will be used to access the .js file associated with the specific application. Since we have not put a limit on the amount of instances that you can set up, you can take full advantage of the power of our VPSs and mix it with the full potential of Node.js. The setup is done via the Hepsia Control Panel’s easy-to-navigate, point-and-click graphical interface, so even if you’re not technically proficient, you won’t experience any problems while using the Node.js platform. You will only have to specify the folder path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to select whether it will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. Furthermore, our system will also specify a port to access the file and you’ll be able to see it in the corresponding section in the Hepsia Control Panel. With just one click, you can see your apps’ output and to remove or to reboot any instance running on the Virtual Private Server.

Node.js is available with all Linux dedicated service on which our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is installed. The latter offers a rather simple and user-friendly GUI, so even if you’ve never worked with the Node.js platform before, you can unleash its true potential in just a few simple steps. Once you have uploaded the application’s content, you will need to define the directory path to the respective .js files that will use the Node.js platform and to select the IP which they will use (dedicated or shared), whereas our system will allocate a random port number that will be used to access these files. There’s no constraint as to the total number of instances that you can enable and run simultaneously and you’ll exert total control over them through the Hepsia Control Panel – you will be able to add new ones or to deactivate/restart existing ones, to check the output log for each application, and many others.
